S'more paisley pants

Supremely comfy pants for pre-donut eating. For pre-track practices coach Rusty told us if we got more than 10 people out for practice for 2 days then we can get donuts. Last week we accomplished the task so today we got donuts after Frisbee. They were supremely yummy.

Denim

As most people know, denim started with Levi Strauss during the Gold Rush. He made tents out of similar fabric as our blue jeans. The miners needed pants though so Strauss made the fabric into pants. After many alterations, we now have denim as a trend over 100 years later.

Acid Wash jeans $29.99 Macy's
BDG Pleated Jean, $24.99 Urban Outfitters

BDG Yellow Tint Cigarette Jean, $58.00 Urban Outfitters
My friend got pants similar to these and they look incredible on her. She said she got them from UO, but only paid $10! I advise everyone to check up on those. The ones he has go up to her waist and have an elastic in the back. The fabric is also super stretchy for a perfect fit.

Not only are there new styles denim pants as a new trend, but also denim coats and even shoes.Black Denim Jacket, $32.50
I especially love this black denim jacket from Amazon.com

Hightop Denim Oxfords, Saks fifth avenue
Although I would never ever have the cash to buy these, I think they are incredibly fantastic and completely unique.

Now, the people who work these styles best...

The Shlums of a Wednesday

Dang. Those are some hideous pictures. My head is chopped off and my neck is huge. I guess that is what I get for having a 5th grader take my pictures at 7 in the morning. I then figured out I had to find a mentor for my senior project by Friday, which is slightly impossible. Well, I started today and am crossing my fingers and praying that all will turn out well. But, I am getting slightly stressed from it. :P

Four minutes

After these pictures were taken I ran to school where I had to catch a bus that leaves at 7:30 on the dot. I left the house when my alarm went off at 7:26. It took me four mintues to run to school and make the bus. That is a record. Don't fret, I didn't run in heels. I change into tennis shoes because I always seem to leave too late and have to run. I made it though! In record time... before it was about 5 min. I can't top 4 though.

My day outfit made up of beret, oldlady, knit, gingham, menswear, leggings and boots. I wanted to be warm. But even then this supposedly warm 42 degree weather was freezing. The blowing wind made it worse, I guess. My sister's and I felt real dumb taking off our jackets for taking pictures right outside of our church while it was sooo fridged.
