Vancouver WA

Sorry that these are terribly late. I forgot to put up pictures, but they are here now. This is an example of how I dress at these cross country trips: jeans and jacket. Except on the way back I usually pull out some funky, comfy-wear. This time I wore a grey bubble skirt with my striped grey and black tights.
This is the coolest thing alive. Except I suppose it's not alive.
Well there is water coming out of the light post and it rained down slopping
over all this junk and ... it was really cool.

We tried a model shot: we slightly failed.

Goofy photo with some country dude whom I cannot name,
for I do not really care. I'm pretty sure he's really cool though.

They bring me so much joy

I gotta say, both so pretty as I'm walking the city, watch out.---Kesha "Boots and Boys"

Yeah, so, I got some new boots on Friday. I pretty much really like them. Ya, I think they're the best pair of boots in the world. Oh, and I feel like dancing in them. So, I did. Yesterday, doing homework and being frustrated; I put on my boots to make me feel better. Thanks for shoes, God.

Vogue

I was waiting in line at the store and grabbed Vogue off the shelf and snapped a few of my favorite shots of the editorial. I really love the sharpness of these looks, and her gorgeous red hair.

If you were a white thread on a dress...

I painted my nails while I was doing math. They're supposed to be leopard print...

Bwah Bwah Bwah Bwah waaah waaah

Scarves and Blazer; kind of hard to go wrong. It probably would have been cooler with skinny jeans, but I decided I am wearing the 5 sizes too big, flared jeans. They make me feel gangster, though I looked a ton more 70s with my clogs.

Blizzard Pizzaz

It is cold and I hate it. It is freezing and miserable. I get to wear my scarves, hats, and dresses with leggings, but it isn't enough. I am still chilled. I get to layer up and forget about seeing waistline, but it's not warm enough to make me happy. :P blah. Embrace it. People n the future will look back at our generation and be so jealous. As victims of our habits, global warming will be in full encompassing and there will never be a cool day.

Okay, I like the cold a smudge better.

Woolen

Wore a big ol' wool skirt to keep warm today. Vogue had a huge spread of wearing 'country girl' themed clothing. They had a bunch of knit, wool, tweed, and the soft, fuzzy cashmere. This outfit was homage to the editorial.

Tip: For shorter people, like me, long skirts usually cut the body in different sections. Play with the waist of the skirt and the color throughout. If the skirt is dark wear a dark top to avoid looking shorter. I think that a good rule of thumb is to leave about 10 inches of leg to be seen. With boots, you can keep that 10 inches or cover it up all together. If wearing heels again, leave 10 inches, or show no leg.

Howdy Ho, Winter Snow

"It isn't officially winter," says the calendar. "I don't care," replies weather, "I am really awesome and people think I am hot, therefore I will do whatever I want!" Over the last few years and especially this year, calendar and weather have not done things together. Their friendship has gotten a bit distant and Father Time and Mother Nature are both too old and too tired to make them have a strong relationship.

These are pictures at the vineyard after everything has died for the winter. These were NOT taken on the same day that these day pictures were taken; quite far in fact. I have snow pictures, but I don't like them. This is mostly due to the fact that I didn't take them.
