If faces were carved out of melons...

...then maybe we could get cast in la roux's music video.

Good day, sir

I was having the most frustrating time trying to get my shoes in the picture without an eyeball behind the camera at the time the shots were taken. The face that reflects my unease is seen here:

Relatively Speaking

My new favorite phrase is relatively speaking. Placed correctly in a conversation, it comes right after an opinion or statement. For example, "Kiwi's are tasty, relatively speaking." The kiwi may be tasty to some or not so much to others. It all just depends what perspective you are looking at it from. This is a super good thing to keep in mind as the world gets taken on. It makes anything a correct or incorrect statement.
There are rules people make up to get dressed. "Don't wear socks with sandals" "Don't mix black and brown" These 'rules' are dumb. How is someone supposed to expand their view of style and take chances, if they have to follow rules? Rules are guidelines. You can follow them or ignore them and go and make a statement, because relatively speaking, you look good.

Croissants have butter

It is really useful to be surrounded by people who know things. They are there for those times when you're being thoughtful and you remember eating a donut and so you ask, "Do you poop trans fats or store them?" and they just know the answer. You trust that they tell the truth and end up googling it when you remember again and hope that the trans fats aren't actually forever stored until you used up the good fats.

Graphite

The colors of my outfit remind me of pencil. Pencils used to be made of lead which is poisonous but now they are not and this is a very good thing because of this weird thing I do. I like to write on my smarties and make words out of them as I eat them. Sometimes they have faces and if I eat one, I have to be able to make a word out of the rest. I do not know why I do this, but I will not die, because I am actually eating graphite... Don't judge me.

Marching Mustache Mufasa

Twas a rainy day, no, it was a snowy day. IN MARCH?!?! Wow God, you're so funny. Oh, and it was also "Everything you do is right" day so I was expecting that I would have the ultimate confidence. So, I made this mix CD for my track team to listen to as we did a workout on the track. I forgot that my computer crashed while I was burning it and so... it didn't burn songs after #8 and I had gotten everyone so excited, including myself. I was so pumped to have everyone exuberant but... I messed it up so I didn't do everything right today. : {( Well, at least that unhappy face has a mustache.

Learning of Butterflies

Butterflies have wings a weird dust stuff on their wings. They transport pollen and have cool sucker swirly things. They have legs and that is all I know about butterflies.

Baby Gaga's Sweater

Completely irrelevant to fashion except for mentioning Gaga's name, there is an ice cream place in Britain that is making 22 dollar ice cream out of breast milk and calling it Baby Gaga. Wait, they were going to call it Baby Gaga but then Gaga said she was going to sue, so they probably are renaming it. The point was that it was made out of breast milk. That's weird. I am super duper curious how it differs from regular ice cream, but it also seems kind of gross. Then again, the milk is pretty much the same that I first had when I was born. It's just like baby food for grown ups.
Outside of the ice cream issue, I think it is really cool to be such an icon that people are making crazy ice cream and naming it after Gaga.

Marshmallow Moon

The moon is fantastic tonight. There is a sliver on the bottom of it and the Cheshire cat is smiling continuously. It shines so bright, even though there is but a slender sliver. It's watching... always watching... that's creepy.
